Description

I know, yet another LOTR kit. Mine is based on Steve K. (flynnibus on Pinside) who has great info & maps. The differences: (1) Black, because it shows dirt less (a ~20-year-old machine gets dirty even with regular cleaning). (2) Two extra sets of slings & flippers (red) because they wear out quicker than everything else. (3) Some 3/8" OD rings to use as friction nuts at end of the wire ramp from Gimli VUK to sword ramp. (4) Shooter tip, because they do wear out. (5) 4 extra Stern tapered posts because some do take a bashing, 4 extra 3/16" ID rings because they are used all over the place, including on the Balrog, and 4 extra 7/16" OD rings. Note: An earlier version of my kit had omitted the Titan Stern slim/tapered post sleeves because they were too thin and did not hold up well (see photo). However, Titan improved the slim/tapered post sleeves and they are now (4/2022) much more durable.
